[ The sparkles dim down just a bit, not entirely dissipating but less noticeable than they previously were. She hadn't even been aware that she had been letting them off, so to hear Cherryblod bring them up - and to call them cute, no less - it's a little embarrassing. ...Actually, no, it's super embarrassing, given that it's Komaru. ]

Oh, um...t-thanks? I mean, I wasn't really trying to, they kinda just happened...

I'm finding it easier to think of them as an extension of myself, rather than something that just happens completely outside of my control. But that's just what works for me.

I'm still getting used to the whole "emotions affect our environment" thing...

Don't think I've gotten the hang of it completely yet. But we'll both learn as we go, and eventually we'll have a handle on it as much as the natives do.

I mean, I don't really know if I could do it myself, but I've seen someone who's an expert at using their emotions, [ Komaeda. ] and it was really cool to see the various effects! I'd love to be able to do things like that someday.

They've probably been here much longer than we have. I'm sure in time you could master the skill equally as well.

[ The whole thought that she could achieve that level of greatness someday is encouraging. There's a lot of things that she doesn't think she's capable of - why, she never thought she was capable of surviving the situation she was in - but this is different. This doesn't rely on talent or innate skills or anything like that; it relies on practice, and if practicing means that she can one day accomplish that goal, then she'll practice as much as she can. ]
